You might have to pay a late fee as well since its been more than a year since it expired. Provided you've worked as a CNA in the last two years and fulfilled your CEU requirements renewal shouldn't be a problem. AFter you get it renewed, you have to contact the RI CNA registry to start the transfer process from MA. You will first need to renew your certification in MA.
