Hi! I am looking for free CNA training. I was misled by the information on this site thinking that the Oneida Working Solutions site was having courses. I would like to get into to the Oneida ECF classes and get on my way to helping people get better.

      Hi Erin,
Yeah, the interviews are in Oneida. Our source is from here: http://www.madisoncountycourier.com/oneida-new-york/job-corps-training-offered-18783/
I’m sorry if we misled you in any way.. but from what I’ve researched the interviews are in Oneida and you can get more information by calling the number above. We can’t follow up with each training program so we sometimes post news as we receive them.

Job Corps Orientations and Interviews take in Madison County (and most other counties in NY). However, the training is NOT in the city of Oneida. This is a misprint. Students actually live and learn on a Job Corps campus. Training, education, housing, meals, and more are provided (no cost to eligible students!). For further information on the different campuses in NY, go to http://www.recruiting.jobcorps.gov or attend an Orientation. Call (315) 478-5529 for information on an Orientation in your area.

Hi, I am intrested insomething that was told to me by my current supervisior. Right not I work as a PCA (Personal Care Aide) I work with people in their homes. When I was training for this job the lady teaching the class, who is now my supervisor told me that I would be able to test out of the CNA class meaning I would not have to take the class just the final exam. I was wondering if you had any idea about this or what I should do about finding out if this is true or not? Thank you!

Hi Amanda, from what I’m aware of you do need to complete training at an accredited training school to be eligible for the exam. You can’t bypass the training part regardless of experience.
