Hi, my name is Brittany and I am 22 years old. I recently just had a baby and am looking to get out of the retail environment I have been in for 6 years. Everyone has always told me that becoming a CNA is a great oppurtunity and I should look into it. I am not sure if it is the right thing for me, but I am interested in a better life for me and my family and it seems like an excellent career choice with places for improvement. I would like to know what a CNA position may entail and how easy & affordable classes and training are. I am very low income, but it seems I have passed the age limit.

Thank you, but I think I am to old for Job Corps, I live in Lawrence Mass, but I am going to move to Attleboro Mass Soon, I am 36 Yrs old with two teenegers kids, so I will look for those nursing home, I have 10 years expirence as a CNA but the liscence expired. 5 Years ago. Thank you.

- Try looking for nursing homes near you with active CNA vacances. Usually, they’d be willing to pay for your training if you agree to work for them for a longer period.

We do not provide the classes ourselves.
If you’re going to apply to a training facility, they will need you to have a high school diploma. Perhaps you can convince a nursing home near your area to sponsor you. They just might if you explain your situation properly and are willing to work for them after certification.
