If you want to become a certified nursing assistant in Tennessee, you will not have difficulty finding a state approved training course.  In fact, there are more than 100 such programs found in educational facilities and in long-term care communities throughout the state. There are community colleges and continuing education universities that offer nursing assistant training for individuals who want to qualify to sit for the certification exam in Tennessee.  Some of these programs are eligible for financial aid and even scholarships.  If you receive a large enough grant or scholarship, you will receive free training.

They have a highly accelerated ninety hour course that meets the certification requirements of the state of Tennessee. The class itself is for free but you will need to bring your own supplies including textbooks(you will be given details of what you will need) as well as a pair of scrubs. To apply for the training you will need to go to  NHC Chattanooga 2700 Parkwood Ave. Chattanooga TN 37404 EOE Monday September 26th, 2011 from 9am-11am.
