If you are hired by a nursing care facility after you already paid for training, you can often receive reimbursement. Nursing assistant training is found in some Adult Education Centers in Utah. Davis Applied Technology College (DATC) – Merit-Based Scholarship
The merit-based scholarships at DATC are awarded to students based on academic achievement, career goals and commitment to the chosen field of study. In order to qualify, the student must:
- Have a current DATC student ID
- Complete the Adult Scholarship Application in its entirety
- Complete an FAFSA application

Snow College – Richfield Campus – Richfield Rotary Club Scholarship
The Richfield Rotary Club has several $500 scholarships that are awarded to current students at the Snow College Richfield campus based on community involvement, academic achievement and personal work ethic. In order to qualify, the applicant must:
- Complete a scholarship application
- Complete a FAFSA application
- Submit a personal letter

Youthlinc Utah Young Humanitarian Award
The Youthlinc Utah Young Humanitarian Award is given to students who excel in their ability to give back to the community. The first place winner is awarded $5000 and three runners-up will receive $1000. In order to qualify, the applicant must:
- Be a Utah resident
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
- Be a Junior or Senior in a Utah high school or enrolled full-time in a college in the state of Utah
