They are currently advertising a job listing for a counselor trainee. This position requires you to have a CNA certification within 120 days AFTER you are hired. An attendant counselor does pretty much everything a normal CNA is supposed to do so if this is something that appeals to you we suggest checking this out. Considering the cost of normal CNA training programs in Washington, Procare’s tution and registration fee of just $675 is pretty reasonable. The training is intense and runs from 9:00 to 4:00 for around 10 days after which you move on to clinicals. You will however need to pay for the gait belt, textbook and scrubs.
