CNA Training in Maine

You will need to find a state approved nursing assistant training course if you want to work as a CNA in Maine.  Nursing assistant training classes need to include a minimum of 150 instruction hours.  Both classroom and clinical instruction is necessary to become a CNA.  Many nursing care facilities offer nursing assistant training classes at their facilities.  CNA training is also offered at many community colleges and continuing education facilities.  Such courses are generally very affordable and do not take too long to complete. Read training center reviews below.

For example, the CNA program offered through the Waterville Regional Adult and Community Education Program in Maine is only $450.

It is possible to receive nursing assistant training for free in many instances.  Many healthcare facilities will hire an individual to work as a nursing aide and will pay for the training and examination to become certified.  If you have paid for a training program out of pocket, you can have the fees reimbursed by the state of Maine if you obtain employment as a certified nursing assistant within a year after receiving your certification.  Nursing assistant training can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months depending on the nursing assistant training facility.
