Nurse Aide Classes in Colorado

Before you select a Nurse Aide Training course in Colorado, make sure that the center you’re going to be certified in is accredited by the Colorado Nursing Board. We’ve tried our best to make sure the ones below have been properly accredited.

Holly Nursing Care Center

Located in Prowers, this care home has a total of 45 beds so it is a very small elderly care home. Those studying for CNA certification can enjoy gaining hands on experience.

Academy of Medical and Health Sciences – Pueblo

This center is part of Theodore High School and is a very traditional school.  AMHS focuses on making sure their students are ready to enter the workplace and compete in society. A high percentage of students enter the workplace after completing CNA certification.

Yampa Valley Medical Center – Doak Walker Care Center

This is an acute-care hospital, serving 39 residents and focusing on  Northwest Colorado. This is a non-profit, non-tax supported independent community hospital. Gain some hands on experience studying for CNA certification at this center.

Sedgwick County Hospital and Nursing Home – Julesburg

Located in Julesberg, this nursing home focuses on quality and improved life for the elderly residents. This care home is for 40 residents, so quite small and a close knit community. Gain some hands on experience while studying for CNA certification.

Summit High School Med-Prep – Frisco

Located in Frisco in the central Rocky Mountains. Approximately 850 students attend the school. A wide range of courses and extra-curricular activities are offered, so there are plenty of options whilst studying to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Cripple Creek Rehab and Wellness Center

A care home located in Teller County – a beautiful and fresh area of rural countryside.  Not only for elderly people, this home also caters to AAA and other groups, allowing students studying for CNA certification to broaden their range of experience.

Morgan Community College – Wray

This college has a friendly atmosphere and a range of extra-curricular activities to get involved in. The tuition is affordable and there are a number of financial aid options. CNA certification takes a couple months at MCC.

Yuma Life Care Center

Located in Yuma, Colorado, and is an elderly care home. The center serves up to 58 residents, and is therefore smaller than the state average. The home has received high quality measures – the perfect place for studying for CNA certification.

Pikes Peak Care Center – Colorado Springs

This center is located in Colorado Springs and is an elderly and rehabilitation center – they focus on the physical, emotional and social needs of residents. Beautiful views and a peaceful setting allow for the ideal place to gain some hands on experience while preparing to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Simla Good Samaritan Center

Based on sharing the message of Christ’s love through goodwill and personal care, this care home is Evangelical Lutheran. They create a loving, valued and peaceful environment for residents. While studying for CNA certification, students can gain some hands on practical experience.

Florence High School Med Prep

Located in Florence, this school has been labelled one of the best high schools to attend in Colorado. Gain education from one of the best places – students will be well prepared for CNA certification after attending FHS.

Colorado State Veterans Nursing Home – Rifle

This nursing home has five difference locations. The CNA certification is specific to the Rifle location. They focus on caring for previous war veterans. CNA certification can be expected within a couple months.

Heritage Park Care Center – Carbondale

Located in Carbondale, this is an assisted living center caring for up to 90 residents. It is therefore one of the larger care homes, allowing students to network and take advantage of more opportunities while gaining their certificate.

Roaring Fork School District – Glenwood Springs

Located in Glenwood Springs, this high school hosts a range of after school and extra activites. Students preparing to be a Certified Nursing Assistant can take advantage of these extra activities while knowing that they are studying at one of the best schools.

Health Care Center at Gunnison Living Community

This health center offers specialized care for residents with dementia or related diagnoses. If you want to focus on this area in your CNA qualification, HCC is the perfect place to gain some hands on experience.

Red Rocks Community College – Lakewood

Beautifully located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. Red Rocks offers a massive 150 programs and suitably prepares students for further study. The college delivers high quality education, and is spread over two campuses, allowing a range of diversity when studying to be a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Weisbrod Memorial Hospital – Kiowa County District Hospital

This is a hospital and nursing home, located in Eads, Colorado.  Open 24 hours a day, students may be able to gain extra working hours and experience while preparing for CNA certification.

Grace Manor Care Center  – Burlington

This is a privately owned care home offering nursing facilities for up to 60 residents. Their focus is primarily (although not limited to) those with dementia. A range of facilities means students can gain varied experience while studying to be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
