It is always free to practice for the skills portion of the CNA certification test. This portion of the test is when you will demonstrate some of the tasks and duties you will complete as a CNA. You can ask family and friends to serve as your model patients while you practice for your exam.
You can also get together with other members of your training course to study for the skills part of the test. Take turns serving as the model patients for role playing and in order to perfect your CNA skills before the exam. You can also use training videos to help you better prepare for the skills portion of the CNA examination.

In some cases, your instructor for your CNA course might have practice CNA tests. These tests will sometimes be used before you complete your training course to help everyone prepare for the test. Talk to your instructor to learn more about finding practice tests or about the specific materials you should study for the test.
Make your own practice tests Look over your past quizzes and tests for some of the most difficult questions or the questions that you missed. Make a quiz with those questions to ensure that you are ready to handle even the hardest questions. Search through your textbooks and study guides for more questions that might be found on the certification exam. Compile your own list of sample questions to use as a practice test.
Get together members of your CNA training class to create sample tests. Work together to make up tests that you can exchange and grade for one another. This is a good hands on approach to studying for your certification exam that should go a long way in being helpful when test day arrives.

Go through the study manual given to you by the training facility. Try and practice the skills with your collegues and you’ll do well. The test always seems harder but it really isn’t. Best of luck!
I am having the same issue.Looking for a practice test for cna,free.I have gone to many many sites and they dont show any tests,just where to go forthe classes of becoming a cna and how to order the test.I take my boards in few days and would like to practice.I have been cna 13 yrs,yet am havn to take again due to being in another state.I have took the course and then some.Please,can u help me find the free practice test..?

Your “free practice tests” do not work. They give error messages.

On your practice question #16 – On what side should the patient lie for an enema? Your answer sheet states the answer should be A, but the correct answer should be B in accordance with (Hartman’s) – Nursing Assistant Care pg 300 (Guidelines for giving enemas). Thank you

I just took a practice test for a written exam. I am currently in an LPN program and have finished almost half the program thus far. I am eligible to take to test to get my cna’s however I am worried about taking the test. The reason for my worry is in taking the test I came to a question that asked what the correct placement for an enema bag is. The correct answer is about 12 inches above the placement of the enema tube and never should it be hung on the iv pole because this causes the solution to flow in too fast and causes severe cramping, however the correct answer on the pre-test I took said to hang it on the iv pole. Is this just an error on the test or is this what cna’s are actually tought to do?
I took the CNACourse in California a few years ago but never took the state test. Is there a timeframe that you have to take the test by?
Hi. You have two years from training completion to take the test.
Correction: depending on the state. I’m about to take the test and they have informed my in writing and verbally that I only have one year from the date of completion (July 27, 2012) to take the test.

you have 2 years to send in to get the state to approve you to test. then you have 2 years to test from the date you were approved by the state to test. im in tennessee so that may differ from state to state.

hi maam.. im kinda confused.. how do we identify the patient and when? just like this one knock on the door, state your name and profession, explain the procedure, close the curtains, wash hands, identify the patient through the wrist band so on and so forth is it correct? isnt it right to wash hands before patient contact?

Josefina I’m just wondering what type of questions then ! I live in North Carolina. So far as what I’ve heard written exam was easy but lots of people failed on Skills. I have State exam this coming December 7,2012. I’m ready for it. Hope everything great by God helps. Don’t loose hope. Keep taking the written exam. Until you pass.

hello my name is pat i beeen taking this test sence 2006 i can never pass it i took this test first three time i fail it and i went back to re training then i took twice already i fail it again please email some study guide to see if i pass is my last try so i don t have to go trainiig again.
On the practice test, out of the 50 questionnaires what is considered to be a passing score??

taking test one I’ve found 2 potentially incorrect answers, for Michigan testers:
#15, we’ve been told to politely go along with the residents thoughts about their delusions, not disagree. ie: when a resident asks when there husband is due home from work- you don’t tell them that they died 20 years ago, just say that it should be within an hour or something, the resident will become distraught and mourn the loss of their husband over and over again if that is part of her daily routing- wondering when her husband is due home.
#26, siderails should be down unless it is part of their care from a doctor order. it is considered restraint if kept up, and can cause entanglement.
Other than that the test was good practice!

Im getting prepaird to take the exam on the 10th of this month im so nervious well actually im worried about the writtin part im so nervious about the writtin pt. OMG but if its anything like these practice test im going to be okay im living in tennessee so if theirs any one can help please help me feel better cause every time i think about that day i have a panic attack lol idk why i guess cause i paid them in cash out my pocket an i dont want to look bad
The patient tells you that she needs you to spoonfeed her, even though
she uses her arms and hands normally. You should
a. spoonfeed her.
b. tell her that she needs to do as much as she can for herself.
c. put the tray in front of her and leave the room.
d. take away the tray
You have C as the correct answer. I feel B should be the correct answer.
15. A resident is standing in the hallway holding a bag, and asks the nurses’
aide when the train is due. The aide should tell her:
a. that she is being ridiculous.
b. where she is, in a matter-of-fact tone of voice
c. to go back to her room.
d. that it should be here any time now
You have b as the correct answer. I thought we are supposed to go along with residents with delusions.
