Free CNA Training in Indiana

Training to become a CNA in Indiana requires you to attend a state approved training program.  These programs provide you with the knowledge you need to provide basic nursing care and personal care duties.  It is not mandatory to have a high school diploma in order to train to work as a certified nursing assistant. See free CNA training options below:

Some career training colleges also offer certified nursing assistant training courses.  These courses are typically inexpensive and can prepare you well for your new career.  In some cases, the programs through career schools will make you eligible for grants and scholarships offered by the state of Indiana.  You might find that you are able to access enough grants and scholarships to cover any costs associated with training.

If you are a displaced homemaker (having lost income through a spouses death, a divorce or a spouses disability), you might be able to receive funding to train for a career.  You could inquire as to whether or not you could receive help to pay for a state approved CNA training course.  Displaced workers, who have been laid off as a result of downsizing or the closing of a business, often qualify for assistance with training for a new career as well.

My present employer is Nightingale Home Care. I returned to work home health after 8 months of physical therapy and restrictions. But did not pay attention and my CNA register expired that same year (recovering with phys. therapy)

To make it short, I am working but I need to attend weekend studies for certified nursing assistant classes, or and if a nursing facility allows us to work in a unit of their facility completing all assignments for 3 or 4 weekends/or more to be recertified for the CNA

Thank you. There is a weekend class 2 hours from my home (4 weekends in August)
why I am inquiring if there is a school or studies /nursing home/area
that allows working in the facility, completing specific documents and procedures
    ?
    Thanks for the information.
I am inquiring about Indianapolis, Carmel or a Zionsville, Lebanon (all in Indiana)
    facilities
