Free CNA Training in Minnesota

You can start a career in the nursing field without becoming a nurse by training to work as a certified nursing assistant.  It will be necessary to find a training program that is approved by the state and then to pass the exam for certification of nursing assistants.  To get free training, follow the options listed below:

In order to receive free CNA training, you should look for employer-sponsored CNA training programs.  Many nursing care facilities and other healthcare providers will hire individuals to train to become nursing assistants (and subsequently work for the facility as CNAs).  If the employer pays for your training, you will need to sign an agreement stating that you will work for the employer for a specified amount of time.

Employer-Sponsored training programs typically last for about 3 or 4 weeks.  If you are currently working for a healthcare facility in a non-medical position, you might be thinking about training to become a CNA.  You should discuss this possibility with your employer.  They might be willing to provide you with or pay for state certified cna training.

You will have free CNA training if you receive enough financial aid to cover tuition and other costs.  This is assuming that the financial assistance you receive is in the form of grants or scholarships rather than loans.  Some nursing assistant training programs will provide you with college credits upon completion of your course.  You can receive the help you need to pay for nursing assistant training.
