CNA Training in Maine

You will need to find a state approved nursing assistant training course if you want to work as a CNA in Maine.  Nursing assistant training classes need to include a minimum of 150 instruction hours.  Both classroom and clinical instruction is necessary to become a CNA.  Many nursing care facilities offer nursing assistant training classes at their facilities.  CNA training is also offered at many community colleges and continuing education facilities.  Such courses are generally very affordable and do not take too long to complete.  For example, the CNA program offered through the Waterville Regional Adult and Community Education Program in Maine is only $450.
