In order to become a certified nursing assistant, you will need to complete a training course and to pass the certification exam. Read school reviews below.

The Department of Health and Family Services in Wisconsin has developed the standard competency exam for nursing assistants.  You will be able to be employed for up to 3 months while you become certified.  In order to do so, you must have completed your certification training course and to be a full-time employee who is supervised by a nurse.  If you are interested in a career as a certified nursing assistant, you can obtain the Wisconsin nurse aide candidate book to learn more about the process of becoming a CNA.

The average income for CNAs is about $22,000 each year.  After you complete a CNA training program, you will need to take the CNA competency test.  The test consists of a written segment as well as a skills portion of the best where you will demonstrate a handful of nursing assistant skills.  It will be necessary for you to pass both sections of the test before you will be granted your certification.  When you work as a nursing assistant, you will provide basic care for patients.
