One of the top CNA training programs in Indiana is offered at Ivy Tech College (Bloomington Campus).  Their nursing assistant training program is 120 hours with 40 of those hours being completed in a classroom setting and 80 hours in a clinical setting.  Students of the CNA training course must have a high school diploma or GED and must be at least 18 years of age.  If you do not live in the Bloomington area, you can search for other high quality (state approved) CNA training programs.  More campuses of the Ivy League College might also offer or begin offering CNA training programs.  You will need to take and pass the certification exam after finishing the training program.

The nurse aide course at MJS requires you to have either a GED or a high school diploma. It lasts for 5 weeks and covers the basics in nursing skills that allow you to assist in a healthcare facility under the supervision of a registered nurse. Tuition fees for the program is $750 and includes the cost of uniform as well as the state exam fee.
