CNA Training in Idaho

Lewis Clark offers you the possibility of doing your Nursing assistant classes online. The classroom section of the classes (80 hours) can be completed from the comfort of your own home using access to the internet. You will need to appear at their facility for the rest of the hours(64) of which 24 are for skills training and 40 are for clinicals. If you choose not to opt for the online program, you can also attend classes at their facility for the full duration of your course.

North Idaho College CNA Course – Coeur d’Alene

The North Idaho College has both campus classes as well as an online CNA program. Both classes cost around $625 in tuition fees and are available three times a year depending on student demand. The cost of classes does not include uniforms and textbooks. You will also need to take a TB clearance test. There are a total of 30 sessions for the campus classes and 18 sessions for the online version. If you’re currently working somewhere, it would be advisable to join the online version of the classes so that you can study from home. You will however need to attend the clinical portion. They also offer a one day class to brush up on your CNA skills if you’re re taking the CNA certification exam. Once you complete your exam and are certified as a CNA, you can opt to get your continuing education hours(a must according to federal requirements) at the same location. They offer the mandatory 12 hour requirement for just $69 and have a variety of different topics you can choose from.

It is important to get a CNA school which is accredited by the state of Idaho. You may be bombarded with many offers online that promise full CNA coaching. Most of those are never accredited by the state and will result in you not qualifying for the certification exam.
